Surprise!
Posted on August 7, 2008 @ 23:36It’s probably time to pick up this blog again after the longest break I’ve ever taken from this site. So, what’s happened since the last post?

Bitch vs. Idiot
Posted on January 23, 2008 @ 23:41I finally managed to get to a bank and exchange the wad of dollar bills I had left from my trip to New York in October. Stumbling into a DnBNOR at Aker Brygge, I soon sat down with a black-clad teller in her fifties and asked her if it was possible to exchange my dollars and make a deposit.
Sure, that’s a pretty stupid question (it’s one of the things a bank is for, after all), and I’ll admit right away that I’m a bit of an idiot in these kinds of situations, but still always on my best behaviour. The lesson she gave me in “How Not to Treat a Customer” was totally uncalled for.

Posted on January 3, 2008 @ 6:42Just found out Something Awful’s Goon Tower project is finished and online at GoonTower.com. It’s an enormous pixel-art collaboration project, with floors by hundreds of “goons” (forum members) including two by yours truly. The amount of pop-cultural references in there is just staggering, ranging from Hollywood blockbusters to obscure internet phenomena. Can you spot them all?

Posted on December 29, 2007 @ 19:19Classmate Ingeborg has recieved a lot of attention lately for her project “The Bubbles of Radio”. Already mentioned on Timo Arnall’s “Touch” blog and Information Aesthetics, today she is featured at Hugh McGuire’s blog and Drawn! too. Well deserved, it’s a wonderful project!
Congratulations Ingeborg, and best of luck with your diploma!
(And keep blogging, it’s not so scary anymore, is it?)
